slogan this - a collection of bright and bold jumpers
I hope you’re all surviving “SNOW-POCALYPSE” and don’t look like this:
What a joke. We had hardly had any snow at home. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been icy and a pretty chilly, but nothing in comparison to what the papers were predicting in my area *insert eye roll*
As the temperate has dropped a bit, I’ve been going through my clothes and searching for my most toasty jumpers - turns out I have a lot, I mean, a lot, a lot. Somewhere Maria Kondo is clapping her hands together with glee at the potential towering bed pile I could create. I think my main problem is that I LOVE Winter clothing - jumpers are the greatest and a slogan jumper… well they’re just the best - they all spark joy for me! The issue I have is that I don’t have enough room in my house to store my current stash and all the brands I love continue to bring out shiny new delights each year (I’m looking at you Whistles). I can’t buy them all, so this year I have decided to reign in the crazy and only add one to my collection. I’ve compiled a list of the finalists together in this post in an attempt to help make a decision.
Check out these beauts:
If, like me, you’re a bit fed up with all the dark clothing on display at the moment, then take a butchers at this little collection of bright and bold slogan tops.
This hot pink number from Whistles looks lovely tucked into dark denim jeans. I love the bold print and Whistles really are champions of the slogan tee/top. Check out their website to see all the options available.
This jazzy jumper is from Hush and the slogan is created out of tiny embroidered sequins. You have to see it in real life to appreciate just how pretty it is and you’re in luck as John Lewis stock Hush clothing.
This lovely jumper is a pricey one… oh dear. I love David Bowie and really like the fact that this jumper has designs both on the front and back. Free People make very high-quality clothing so even though this is punchy, it will live a long time if you take care of it.
I love Scotch & Soda, they always manage to smash it when it comes to their Autumn/Winter clothing. I don’t usually wear peach, but I really like the shape and style of this jumper, it’s also in the sale too…
Chinti & Parker have gorgeous knitwear and always manage to produce bold and bright jumpers that are such fun and also soft, soft, soft as they’re made out of 100% cashmere - oooooh.
I’ve only recently found out about Joanie and their wonderful website filled with cute dresses and slogan sweaters. I particularly like this mustard Readers Club sweater, I think it’d look fab paired with a black leather skirt and some nice thick tights and chunky DMs.
Miss Patina have been on my radar for a few years now and I have amassed quite the collection of their dresses and jumpers. Their clothing has such a whimsical feel and if you like cats then you’ll love their website and particularly their Pee-Cat-Boo Shirt
I’m pretty new to the world of Mira Mikati, but I’m already a big fan. I first became aware of her clothing through Net-a-Porter and I fell in love with the fun and playful designs. I like the colours used on this jumper and the stripey collar and sleeves really finish off this stylish top.
So there we go, a little collection of slogan joy. Now I just need to make a decision… urgh.
Do you like slogan designs? Do you have a jumper hiding in your wardrobe with a little Parisian word emblazoned on it?
Take care x
