Well, this weekend didn’t turn out how I planned, although that’s no bad thing I suppose. The original plan was to head to Brighton on Saturday for some chips, wandering, ice cream, a spot of crazy golf and a pub trip… but it rained, so that changed plans. Instead of Brighton I decided to do something a bit more adventurous with my scrapping and try out sewing - ooooh…

I admire the scrappers that document their weeks, months, years using Project Life. I’m so impressed by their persistence and skill, but it’s just not for me, mainly because I struggle to remember what I had for tea last night, let alone what I did for tea three weeks ago on a Tuesday night and remember to take a photo of it…

They say bad things come in threes… I really hope that’s true as I don’t think I can handle a fourth. After boldly making a proclamation in January of this year that I didn’t want anything bad to happen and I wanted to get through 2019 without any troubles, April, May and June have laughed in the face of my decree and I’m now having to come to terms with losing yet another wonderful person in a short period of time…

I’m typing this while wearing a jumper, a big grey fuzzy jumper… it is June. Wimbledon starts soon and I can’t help but wonder what those poor tennis players are letting themselves in for with this mental weather. I need to stop checking my weather app on my phone as every single time I look, it seems to be getting worse…
